Djauhari Sitorus is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist with the World Bank Group Global Knowledge and Research Hub in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Prior to that he was with the World Bank office in Jakarta. He has 15 years of financial sector development experiences covering topics of financial stability, micro finance institutions, MSME finance, insurance sectors and capital market development. Before his tenure with the World Bank, he worked for commercial and investment banks, accounting firms, the Government of Indonesia’s debt restructuring task force as well as a stint as a lecturer at the University of Indonesia. Djauhari graduated with an MSc degree from the London School of Economics and MBA degree from the University of Birmingham. His Bachelor of Science degree in economics is from the University of Indonesia.
