Senior Procurement Specialist and Hub Coordinator in the Solutions and Innovations in Procurement, Governance Global Practice of the World Bank. He has provided procurement support on World Bank-financed projects in more than ten countries, including the Philippines and FCV (Fragility, Conflict & Violence) States. Over 36 years of professional experience, including 26 years in the World Bank, where his assignments focused on East Asia and the Pacific region. He was the Task Team Leader for the Institutional Development Fund grants which supported the creation of GPPB-TSO and initiated the public procurement professionalization practice and function with govt counterparts in the Philippines. He had worked on previous Country Procurement Assessment Reports including the use of the MAPS tool, which opened dialogues with various governments on procurement reforms. He was the co-Task Team Leader for the MAPS Report in the Philippines.
