Ms. Dora N. Cudjoe, a World Bank Senior Operations Officer has over 17 years of policy and operational experience in natural resources management and climate action. She joined the World Bank in 2007 as a Young Professional and was a key player in fashioning the Climate Investment Funds from 2007-2009. Managing Bank operations in South Asia, she helped drive climate funds financed interventions; the portfolio on forests and nature-based tourism; mainstreaming biodiversity in roads infrastructure; and promoted cross-regional knowledge exchange between the Africa Region (Ghana), East Asia and the Pacific Region (Indonesia), and the South Asia Region (India) on cleaner production. As the Task Team Leader for the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy portfolio for Sudan, Ms. Cudjoe has been keen on harnessing the country’s natural resources assets to address poverty, gender inequality, conflict and fragility, climate risks and to unlocking new business opportunities around solid waste management and one-health approach. In her role as the Program Lead for Governance and Stakeholder Engagement with the Climate Investment Funds, she advocates for inclusive and transparent decision-making and in the use of climate funds. She holds a Master of Environment Management degree from the Yale University School of Environmental Studies.
