Dorothee Delort, a French national, has been a senior financial sector specialist in the Payment Systems Development Group (PSDG) of the Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation (FCI) Global Practice of the World Bank since November 2012. She has been involved in national payments system reforms, financial market infrastructures (FMIs) and retail payment systems technical assistance, lending projects and FSAP in several countries. Dorothee has over 15 years of experience in central banking, having occupied, before joining the World Bank, various positions in the fields of forex markets and payment systems at Banque de France, the European Central Bank in Frankfurt and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve in Washington DC. Dorothee holds a Master Degree in Political Sciences from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris (Sciences Po Paris) and a post-graduate degree in International affairs from the University Paris-Dauphine.
