Dr Bhagyasree A R is the nodal officer for the One Health program at Kottayam District, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Kerala. She completed her graduation in medicine from the Government Medical College, Kottayam in 2006. During the initial years she has worked in extremely difficult rural and tribal areas of Kerala and also conducted various health promotion activities among the marginalised population. Subsequently she has worked on urban health and hospital management. She was in the frontline during the 2018 floods and the COVID control activities. She has experience in running integrated projects coordinating varies government departments, NGOs and the public.
