Drita Dade is Senior Natural Resources Management Specialist in the World Bank’s Europe and Central Asia Region Environment, Natural Resources, and Blue Economy Global Practice (ECA ENB). Her area of expertise is natural resources management, community forestry management, integrated water management, climate change mitigation and adaptation, integrated coastal zone management, and rural development. Drita currently serves as Team Leader of the Integrated Forest Ecosystems Management Project in the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Resilient Landscape Restoration Project in Tajikistan, and as co-Team Leader of Blue Economy Development Project in Albania. She has led or co-led several analytical studies, including Realizing the Blue Economy Potential in Albania. Prior to joining the World Bank, she was Project Manager of UNDP/GEF Regional Project on the Conservation of Coastal and Wetland Ecosystems in the Mediterranean Region and worked at the Albanian National Environmental Agency and former Committee of Environmental Protection in the Prime Minister’s office.
