A Senior Environmental Specialist with the World Bank, based in Kathmandu, Nepal, Drona is ENB Country Focal Point and Safeguard Coordinator for Nepal. He has civil and environmental engineering background. Mr Ghimire is a qualified and experienced environmental specialist who has supported variety of projects in Nepal, Bhutan, India and Myanmar for environmental risk management (application of safeguard OPs/ ESF). He has been actively engaged, participated and contributed in CPF, SCD, Infrastructure Sector Assessment, as well as various analytical works. Drona started his career as Civil and Environmental Engineer and Lecturer at the Institute of Engineering in Nepal. Prior to joining the World Bank more than a decade ago, he worked for/ with other development partners/ international agencies including ADB, IUCN, ILO,ICIMOD, as well as with NGOs and private sector.
