Dulanii Liyanahetti completed her Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Colombo in 2009. Simultaneously she completed her Attorneys having taken oaths as an Attorney-at-Law in 2007. At present she is attached to the academic staff of the Department of Social Studies of the Open University of Sri Lanka and also following Masters Degree in Economics at the University of Colombo.
Her areas include Macroeconomics, Economy of Sri Lanka with a special interest on studying about how knowledge economies create economic prosperity in the Asian continent.
Dulanii has represented Sri Lanka at several international conferences held in India, Bangladesh and the USA and hopes to complete her PhD in the near future in further strengthening her academic career.
