Ed Bell has been working for the World Bank in Manila since February 2011. He coordinates the Bank's State and Peacebuilding Fund (SPF) in the Philippines, a program which helps policies, strategies and projects to work better for communities in conflict-affected areas. Ed is a graduate of Oxford University and Sciences-Po, Paris. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2009 in its Sri Lanka office, he was an advisor on conflict/fragility issues to the OECD's Development Assistance Committee and then at International Alert in London. Over the last decade, he has worked on conflicts in the South Caucuses, the Great Lakes region of Africa, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
