Edlira Dashi is a senior consultant with the World Bank’s Financial Inclusion Global Practice, working at the intersection of financial systems, inclusive growth, and public policy.
Over the past 15 years, she has advised governments, central banks, and development partners in more than 25 countries, including fragile and conflict-affected settings and EU-accession economies.
Her career has also included senior management, technical leadership, and advisory roles at the Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX), Accion, and Fast Forward Foundation.
Edlira holds a master’s degree in Management from Università LUMSA and a dual bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science and International Relations from the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG). She is based in Rome, Italy, and is fluent in English, Italian, and Albanian.
