Edoardo is a water specialist at the World Bank. His work focuses on water resources management, climate change adaptation, and infrastructure planning. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked at the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations in Rome and at the International Water Management Institute in Sri Lanka. He has held research appointments at the European University Institute, University of Oxford, International Institute for Applied System Analysis, and Imaflora. He holds an undergraduate degree from Imperial College London and a PhD on climate change adaptation in the water sector from the University of Oxford. In 2018 he was awarded the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water for his work on water resources planning in times of climate change.
