Edoardo Casarotto

Consultant, Transport Global Practice, World Bank

Edoardo is a Consultant in the World Bank’s Transport Global Practice, and is currently working on projects in West Africa, the Pacific, and on decarbonizing maritime transport. He holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Governance from the Italian Naval Academy and a Master’s degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Genoa. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Public Policy – Energy, Resources and Environment from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked for almost ten years in the Italian Maritime Administration, where he was involved in several leadership assignments related to maritime safety and security. He also worked as a National Expert at the European Commission – Directorate General Mobility and Transport.
