Eduardo Medina-Cortina is a PhD candidate in Economics and a MSc student in statistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His primary research fields are labor and migration economics. His current research focuses on improving measurements of the flows and stocks of the undocumented population in the United States, as well as the effect of US-based policies on current and future undocumented migration patterns. He holds a MSc in economics from El Colegio de Mexico and a BA in economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
