Eduardo Mendoza is an economist with extensive experience in macrofinancial risk analysis and policymaking. He currently serves as a member of the Macrofinancial Risk Analysis Directorate at Banco de México. Prior to his current position, he held several key roles in various governmental and international organizations. He served as the General Director of Macroeconomic Analysis in the Economic Planning Unit of Public Finance at the Ministry of Finance in Mexico (SHCP). Additionally, he worked as the Deputy General Director for Economic Evaluation at the National Hydrocarbons Information Center of Mexico (CNH). Eduardo also held the position of Area Director for the General Directorate of Economic Studies at Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV). Furthermore, he contributed his expertise as a consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Eduardo holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Arts in Economics from El Colegio de México, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UANL (Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León).
