Edward Atkinson is a former consultant for the Global Investment and Competition Unit of the World Bank Group’s Macro, Trade and Investment (MTI) Global Practice. He is now serving as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of State. Before joining the World Bank Group, Edward was an intern at the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors; an English teaching assistant at Juraj Dobrila University in Pula, Croatia; and a data analyst at Moody’s Analytics. A native of Houston, Texas, Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and mathematics from Oberlin College, a Bachelor of Music degree in percussion performance from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and a Master in Public Affairs degree from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School.
