Eigo Tateishi is a consulting geographer at the World Bank, currently affiliated with the Tokyo Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Hub and the Global Operations Support Team (GOST). He leverages his expertise in geospatial analysis and urban geography to provide spatial intelligence to World Bank clients, supporting efforts to enhance urban climate resilience. Most recently, he has focused on developing a machine learning algorithm to predict informal settlements vulnerable to climate-related risks. He holds a Ph.D. in Urban Studies from Malmö University, Sweden.
