Ellie joined infoDev in October 2011 to work primarily in the Climate Technology Program (CTP) and the Entrepreneurship Program for Innovation in the Caribbean (EPIC). She has supported the implementation of Climate Innovation Centers (CICs) in Ethiopia and the Caribbean, where she has also helped launch a program to accelerate women-led enterprises. In her previous role as a consultant in the World Bank energy anchor, she developed the report "Carbon Capture and Storage in Developing Countries: A Perspective on Barriers to Deployment". Ellie completed the Technology and Policy Program at MIT, where she also worked as a graduate assistant and held an internship at the Department of Energy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Physics from Oxford University in 2007.
