Elena Bondarenko is an international development economist at the World Bank with expertise in macroeconomic and structural policies. She has over twelve years of progressive work experience in the WBG, private sector and academia, covering issues including drivers of economic growth, fiscal risks, fiscal debt & sustainability, macroeconomic impacts of climate shocks, public expenditure framework, and private sector development. Elena holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from West Virginia University, USA.
