Elena Gex is a communications associate for the Trade and Competitiveness World Bank Global Practice. Previously, she worked with the Bank's Africa Region and the External and Corporate Affairs Team's News Bureau as a news boiler. She is a native Washingtonian and has been working in the communications field for the past 8 years. She received her MPA from The George Washington University Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration and a BA in Speech Communications & Public Relations from Miami University-Oxford, Ohio.
