Eleni is a PhD research fellow at UNU-MERIT/Maastricht Graduate School of Governance. She has MSc in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University. Eleni has worked for the National Bank of Ethiopia and the Netherlands Development Organization, SNV. Her PhD dissertation examines the impact of household risk management strategies on Poverty Dynamics. Her research interest includes the measurement of poverty dynamics, socio-economic dimensions of economic shocks, applied econometrics and impact evaluation.
