Private Sector Specialist, Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice

Elikia works as a Private Sector specialist in the World Bank’s Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice where she supports a high-profile project to invest in infrastructure aimed at fighting coastal erosion in West Africa called the West Africa Coastal Areas Management Program (WACA). She provides operational support to all WACA countries and supports the WACA platform to develop private sector engagement such as private sector dialogues, PPPs, and calls for innovation and marketplace. She started at the Bank in the Junior Professional Associates Program in 2010 working on private sector engagement, operations, and research analysis within the Transport and Information and Communication Technologies (now referred to as Digital Development) Global Practices in Washington, D.C.
 
Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked in capital markets in asset management and investment banks in France. A Cameroonian national, Elikia hold’s a Master’s degree in Risk and Investment Management and a Master’s in management from EDHEC Business School (London, United Kingdom and Lille, France).
