Liz Foster is poverty economist for Burkina Faso and co-lead of the Africa Poverty and Equity Data Platform in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice of the World Bank.  She supports the production and use of microdata on poverty across West Africa, including poverty estimation from survey data and poverty projections incorporating macroeconomic data.  She also works globally on issues of poverty measurement and global poverty monitoring as part of the Data for Goals global team.  She holds a Master in Public Affairs from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
