Elizabeth Ludwig-Borycz is a Consultant with the Agriculture and Food Global Practice of the World Bank and a Postdoctoral Impact Scholar at the Center for Global Health Equity at the University of Michigan. Her research explores the complex interplay between climate change, food systems, and nutrition-related diseases. Currently, she is investigating the role anthropogenic climate change has during pregnancy on child and maternal health in Bangladesh and Ghana. Previously, her Ph.D. work focused on sustainable diets among nutritionally vulnerable populations in the US during and prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kyrgyzstan working to mitigate diet-related diseases. Elizabeth holds a Ph.D. in Nutritional Epidemiology, an MPH in Global Health Epidemiology, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
