Ellen Van de Poel leads the GFF’s health financing workstream and supports GFF partner countries to develop and implement strategies to increase their domestic resources for health and improve the efficiency of their health spending. Before joining the GFF, Ellen was an associate professor of health economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research, which focused on evaluating health financing reforms and measuring equity in health, has been published in leading journals.
