Elsy Buligwa Asena is Kenya’s delegate to the World Bank Youth Summit 2021 and 2022. She is a Project Management professional who has led multi-million-dollar projects across the private sector to success. Early on in her career as a supply chain leader, Elsy executed regional cost reduction projects through contract negotiation, process changes and implementation of sustainable cost controls. She also led the deployment of global sourcing strategies at the local level (Sub-Saharan Africa) to meet overall deflation and productivity objectives within the assigned locations.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Warwick Business School – United Kingdom and a Bachelors’ degree in Management Science from Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya.
