Emiliano Duch is Lead Private Sector Specialist, at the Global Markets & Technology Unit of the Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice of the World Bank. Before joining the bank, he was in the faculty of the IESE Business School, as Director of its Competitiveness Summer School and Coordinator of the European Union’s Cluster Excellence Initiative, and CEO of The Cluster Competitiveness Group. He was founding chairman of The Competitiveness Institute. Previously he served as Trade Commissioner of Spain in Baghdad and Helsinki. He has a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, an MPA and an MBA from Harvard University.
