Emily Kallaur is a consultant in the World Bank’s Governance Global Practice, where she researches and writes about open government and sustainable resource management. In addition, her tenure at the Bank has included work with the Ethiopia, Sudan, and Uganda country teams in what was formerly the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management (PREM) Network. Previously, she managed communications at Development Gateway, and worked with national governments to enhance data transparency via IT solutions. She holds a Master’s in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
