Eric Gires is a Principal Actuary within the Pension and Endowments Department (PEN) of the World Bank, which he joined in 2014. In his capacity of actuary, he also gives some technical support to pension and social insurance related projects led by the Social Protection and Jobs Practice or the Treasury RAMP program.
The Pension and Endowments Department (PEN) is responsible for the administration and the financial management of the World Bank Group's post-retirement benefit plans, including the Staff Retirement Plan, the retired staff medical plan and other ancillary benefits.
