Erika Padron works as a Psychosocial Specialist at the World Bank. She has worked on areas affecting the well-being of migrants, including anxiety, depression, psychosomatic, and post-traumatic stress disorders. At the World Bank, she has worked on projects enhancing and improving the physical and mental integrity of migrants and refugees for them to be productive and integrated into society. Before the World Bank, Erika worked as a Microeconomics Professor at the School of Economics from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. Erika graduated as an Economist from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and holds an MSc. in Educational Policy and Mental Health Counseling from The University of Rochester.
