Erina Iwami is an Operations Officer in the Fragility, Conflict & Violence (FCV) Group of the World Bank, based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She has extensive experience in working on fragile and conflict-affected situations and currently serves as FCV Coordinator in Ethiopia and task team leader for the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs portfolio in South Suda. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2016, Erina worked in the private sector as an associate at a global trading and investment company, focusing on investment in mineral resources mainly in India and Japan. She holds a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in political science from Keio University, Japan.
