Erisha Suwal is a Social Development Specialist with the World Bank. She works primarily on gender-based violence prevention and response and gender in South Asia, with a special focus on Bangladesh and Bhutan. Previously, she worked for UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in Nepal on access to justice for GBV survivors. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics and South Asia Studies from Wellesley College, and a master’s degree from School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University.
