Ernest is a Senior Economist in the Macroeconomic, Trade and Investment (MTI) Global Practice of the World Bank. He leads Development Policy Financing operations and analytical studies and is repsondible for macroeconomic monitoring in Togo. Previously, Ernest worked as an Assistant Vice President at Moody’s Investors Service as the lead analyst for the Caucasus and Central Asia, responsible for macroeconomic monitoring and participating in the assignment of government credit ratings. Ernest was also a Research Fellow and Statistical Consultant at Harvard University’s Institute for Quantitative Social Science. He holds a PhD in Political Science, with concentrations in Political Economy and Econometrics, from New York University and a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics. His work is published in leading academic journals.
