Denise was an underwriter in the oil, gas, chemicals, mining, and energy sector at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the political risk insurance arm of the World Bank Group. Denise joined MIGA in 2011 through the MIGA Professionals Program, which aims to attract new and diverse talent to the agency.
Before joining MIGA, Denise received a master’s in business administration from Cornell University where she carried out highly appraised independent studies on “Recommended Valuation Metrics for African Investments” and “Business Culture in Nigeria”.
Denise has also served as a portfolio manager at Lehman Brothers and has served in various roles within debt capital markets – including GE Commercial Finance and Goldman Sachs. She received her LLB (Hons), Law from The University of Bedfordshire and subsequently qualified as a Barrister having been called to the English Bar at Lincoln’s Inn. Denise joined the International Finance Corporation in November 2012.
