Etkin Ozen is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist with the World Bank Group’s Finance Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice.
He is currently covering the World Bank’s financial sector program in Türkiye, including operations through financial institutions, advisory services, collaborations, and analytical work mostly on green finance, climate change, financial stability, inclusion, and diversification, as well as macro-financial monitoring. Etkin has also co-authored several publications, including the Türkiye Country Climate Development Report (CCDR), Unlocking Green Finance in Türkiye, Selected Capital Market Options to Promote Long-Term Finance for Türkiye, and Türkiye Economic Monitor (TEM).
Before joining the World Bank, he worked for the Central Bank of The Republic of Türkiye. He is a Chevening Alumni and holds a master’s in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics, a postgraduate degree in economics from the University of Nottingham, and a bachelor’s in Economics from Hacettepe University.
