Eva Hasiner is a Senior Economist at the World Bank, where she works on themes related to agriculture and food systems. She has worked extensively on projects supporting agribusiness development and rural entrepreneurship, digital transformation of the agrifood sector, and food security emergency response. Eva holds a PhD degree in Economics from the University of Goettingen and two diploma degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Vienna. Prior to joining the World Bank she worked for UNIDO and the University of Goettingen as research associate.
