Fabrice Sergent holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Burgundy (France), where he conducted research as part of the IREDU-CNRS team. He worked as a short term health financing consultant in a number of African and Asian countries, and held long term positions in Cambodia, Malawi and the Philippines. In 2008, he joined the African Development Bank (AfDB), where he currently operates as Chief Health Analyst in the Human Capital, Youth and Skills Development Department. He is the focal person for the AfDB’s Value for Money in Social Sectors Programme and the Harmonization for Health in Africa (HHA) partnership.
