Faraz Salahuddin

Health Economist

Faraz Salahuddin is a Health Economist (ETC) at the World Bank's Health, Nutrition, and Population Global Practice. His work at the World Bank is currently focused in the areas of sustainable health financing and health systems reform in the South Asia Region. His experience cuts across healthcare management consulting, value-based payment and strategic purchasing reforms, healthcare claims data, and hospital operations research. Prior to joining the Bank in 2022, he worked to implement value-based care innovation payment models for the US’s Medicare program. Faraz completed undergraduate training at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY and earned a graduate degree in public policy from Yale’s Jackson School of Global Affairs.
