Farida is a Research Analyst in the Office of the Senior Vice President for the 2030 Agenda, UN Relations and Partnerships. She serves as the principal researcher on the Sustainable Development Goals and related macroeconomic trends. She previously worked in the Development Finance unit on the “Billions to Trillions” Development Committee paper. Prior to joining the Bank, she was at Global Financial Integrity (GFI), a nonprofit research organization working on curtailing illicit financial flows. She previously worked at a human trafficking research and policy institute at Johns Hopkins University and at a human rights NGO in Cairo. She received her MS in International Finance from Georgetown University and her BA in International Relations from American University.
