Farouk Al-Kamali has been a reporter for the newspaper Al-Araby al-Jadeed [The New Arab] in Yemen since September 2014, and has also served as reporter for the UAR newspaper Al-Khaleej [The Gulf]. He has also held a number of positions in the Yemeni press including editor in chief of the independent weekly Al-Yemen, managing editor of the economic journal Al-Istithmar [Investment], editor of the weekly newspaper Al-Usbu’ [The Week], and editor of the English-language newpaper Yemen Times.
