Fatima Hafsa is a circular economy consultant providing analytical and operational support for blue economy projects across West Africa and the MENA region. Fatima has worked across climate resilience, circular economy, chemical and waste management, fisheries management, and sustainable purchasing with WWF Pakistan, Mitsubishi’s Global Kaiteki Center, the Sustainable Purchasing Research Initiative, and the Morrison School of Agribusiness. She holds a Ph.D. in Sustainability from Arizona State University with a specialization in environmental economics, and a Master’s in Materials Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Fatima is currently serving as an expert on the US National Academies of Science and Medicine’s recycling costs committee.
