Young Professional, Climate-Smart Agriculture team

Fatma Rekik is currently working as a Young Professional in the Climate-Smart Agriculture team of the Agriculture and Food Global Practice at the World Bank. In her capacity, she ensures that relevant World Bank agriculture and food operations align with climate-smart practices, while also aiding regional teams by disseminating knowledge, among other responsibilities. Prior to joining the World Bank, Fatma worked for the International Center for Agriculture Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) as a Research Fellow, the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) as Post-Doctoral Fellow, and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations first as an Intern in the Global Soil Partnership and later as a Reporting Specialist in the Reports Group.
