Fatou Mbacke Dieng is a Senior Governance Specialist/Financial management based in Dakar, Senegal. She also oversees the fiduciary performance of several IPF and PforR projects in Senegal while participating in public financial management (PFM) analytical work and capacity-building activities to strengthen countries' PFM systems. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked as a Senior Auditor at Grant Thornton where she assessed the adequacy of financial management systems and provided advisory services to Senegalese public sector entities and donors funded projects including the World Bank. Fatou is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Virginia, USA, and a holder of a Master in Business Administration with Accounting Major from Howard University, Washington DC.
