Fatoumata Nankoto Cisse is an economist with research interests in development economics, impact evaluation, energy, and impact investment in emerging markets. She is one of the 2023 World Bank Group Africa Fellow alumni from the Development Impact Measurement Department for Infrastructure and Natural Resources (CDIIN) at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). She contributed to the diagnostic of IFC’s Anticipated Impact Measuring and Monitoring (AIMM) Framework for infrastructure projects in Africa and Asia. She is currently working at the Development Impact Evaluation group (DIME) of the World Bank on the impact evaluation of a national electrification program in Rwanda. Fatoumata holds a Ph.D. degree in economics from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a master’s degree in development economics from the same institution.
