Federica Ricaldi is a Senior Economist with the World Bank Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice, based in Nairobi, Kenya. She has been living and working in the Middle East and North Africa region and in Sub-Saharan Africa for the past 11 years, focusing on the topics of jobs, entrepreneurship, skills development, and social protection, and with a focus on women empowerment and issues of fragility. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked for the African Development Bank, focusing on entrepreneurship and livelihoods support. Federica holds a master’s degree in development studies and an MBA.
