Fedja Pivodic works in the Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice at the World Bank. He focuses on improving policies and programs through the use of micro-econometrics and data science to achieve better health outcomes. Fedja's work is currently focused on the Eastern Africa region and his interests include public financial management, data integration and data management in the health sector. Prior to joining the World Bank, Fedja was in the International Professionals Program (IPP) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and worked as a technical advisor and ODI Fellow at Mozambique's Ministry of Health. Born in Bosnia, Fedja holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the Vienna University of Economics and a post-graduate degree in development economics from Oxford University. He is fluent in seven languages, including French, Portuguese and Russian.
