Felipe Goya is the Regional Procurement Manager with the World Bank’s South Asia Region. Previously he worked in ChileCompra, the central procurement agency in Chile. During his time in ChileCompra he was Managing Director, Framework Agreements Division Director and Head of the Research Department. In the Public sector, he also worked as project manager in public management initiatives in the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency in Chile.
In the private sector, Felipe Goya worked as associated consultant in Invertec IGT, a Chilean firm with projects all across America. Previously, he worked as Corporate Trader for BankBoston N.A.
Finally, during his whole career, Felipe has combined his work with academic activity: he has taught public management in the “Universidad de Chile” and in the “Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso”.
Felipe has an MSc in International Policy Analysis of the University of Bath in UK, an MBA of the “Universidad Catolica de Chile” and he is Industrial Engineer from the “Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso”.
