Felipe Montoya is an urban specialist at the World Bank, where he leads and co-leads a lending portfolio on disaster risk management (DRM), urban infrastructure, and climate resilience in Latin America and the Caribbean. His work also covers the areas of land-based financing, urban transport, and slum upgrading. Before joining the Bank, Felipe worked as an Associate for Metro de Medellin Ltd., and as chief of staff to the Mayor of Medellin, Colombia. He holds a bachelor in business from EAFIT University and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) at the University of Oxford.
