Fernanda Marquez-Padilla is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Princeton University. Her interests include Development Economics, Health Economic, and Political Economy. She has studied the effects of violence on human capital accumulation, and she currently conducts research on the determinants of medication adherence and habit formation. Before graduate school, she worked as a junior researcher and adviser in the Fiscal Federalism Unit and the Under Ministry of Revenues in the Mexican Ministry of Finance. She has also worked as a consultant for the World Bank and RAND Corporation, and has done research at Banco de Mexico. Fernanda received a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
