Fernanda Massarongo is a Research Analyst in the Macroeconomic, Trade and Investment (MTI) Global Practice. She has been member of the Mozambique MTI team for nearly five years, covering the areas of macroeconomic monitoring, technical assistance to the government, and analytical advisory services. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked as a deputy director of the Economic and Development research group in the Institute of Economic and Social Studies (a Mozambican Think Tank), and as an economist in the department of studies of the Ministry of Planning and Development, in Mozambique. Fernanda has a master’s degree in development economics from the University of London - School of Oriental and African Studies.
