Fernando Armendaris Puente is a water and sanitation consultant in the World Bank's Water Global Practice, where he works on projects related improving the performance and resilience of water utilities in Ethiopia and Angola. Additionally, he works on global initiatives aimed at mainstreaming resilience into water and sanitation services. Prior to his work in the water sector, Fernando worked in World Bank’s Urban Global Practice and the Independent Evaluation Group, where he focused on resilience issues in cities in Africa and South East Asia. Fernando holds a Master’s Degree of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University.
